Our southern timberlands consist of over 1.1 million acres located across 4 states in the south - Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana. Timberlands are managed on a sustainable basis to maximize growth while ensuring we maintain healthy working forests. PotlatchDeltic benefits from a strong customer base near our southern timberlands and proximity to major housing markets. Timberlands in these baskets are also expected to benefit from strong end-use demand growth in the region.

Our southern timberlands are managed on a sustainable basis and are third-party certified annually under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative ® (SFI ®) standard or Forest Stewardship Council ™ (FSC ™) standard. SFI promotes sustainable forestry practices through a set of standards that seek to promote healthy productive forests through protecting factors such as water quality, biodiversity and wildlife habitat. One of the best ways to experience the beauty of the south is to get out in the forests and most of our lands are available for a wide variety of public uses. Our southern timberlands are the perfect place to enjoy activities such as hiking, camping, hunting and fishing and they also provide excellent habitat for deer, turkey and many other wildlife species.
